Chery Corporate Malaysia Celebrates Excellence Across Its Nationwide Network

PETALING JAYA, 26 MARCH 2026 – Chery Corporate Malaysia hosted its inaugural Gala Dinner, celebrating the achievements of its dealerships and team members. The evening saw 32 awards presented across 15 categories, recognising excellence in sales, service, and marketing that strengthened the Chery brand experience nationwide in 2025.

Chery Corporate Malaysia Executive Vice President, Men Lin Bo, expressed his deep gratitude to the dealer partners who have been central to Chery’s growth in Malaysia.

He emphasised that the network’s achievements are built on the real commitment of teams on the ground. “The hard work, dedication, and belief demonstrated across the dealer network are the engines driving Chery’s growth,” he said, adding that dealerships serve as the brand’s direct connection to customers, with their daily efforts ultimately shaping Chery’s identity and success.

Chery Medini Shines as Best Dealer of the Year

Dealer partners and distinguished guests attended the star-studded night, with the highlight being the announcement of the Best Dealer of the Year 2025, awarded to Chery Medini (Gagner Auto Sdn Bhd). The outlet achieved Gold status, proving its strength as an exceptional all-round performer, and also secured the Top Sales Outlet 2025 title.

Several team members from Chery Medini were also recognised, including four staff members who received the Top Sales Advisor accolade. In addition, Lim Wei Jin, the dealership’s Service Lead, was named Service Centre Manager of the Year making Chery Medini one of the most decorated dealerships of the night.

The Silver and Bronze titles were awarded to Chery Glenmarie (Joystar Auto Sdn Bhd) and Chery Bandar Bukit Puchong (Lesydear Automobile Sdn Bhd) respectively.

Celebrating the People Driving Chery’s Everyday Success

Beyond awards and titles, the gala also celebrated the personal journeys of individuals whose dedication and growth reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence on the ground.

Among those recognised was Norfarlyana Ahmad Afandi from Chery Glenmarie (Joystar Auto Sdn Bhd), who was named one of five recipients of the Top Service Advisor 2025 award. Her journey is marked by resilience and adaptability. Previously in an administrative role, Norfarlyana transitioned into a customer-facing position without prior experience.

She shared that Chery’s structured training programmes played a critical role in helping her adapt quickly. Interacting with peers from other dealerships during these sessions broadened her understanding of customer needs, product knowledge, and service expectations.

“When you understand the product well, you can explain things better with confidence with my customers, that’s how I learned,” she said, adding that she is grateful to receive the award, knowing her hard work has paid off.

The evening also recognised leadership excellence, with Christy Ching from Chery Puchong (CNO Autohaus Sdn Bhd) named Top Sales Manager of the Year. Reflecting on her journey, Ching spoke candidly about her experiences in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

“It hasn’t always been easy to stand out, I was once turned down for a role because of my gender,” she shared. Ching added, “What makes a difference is being in an environment that values equal opportunity. I’m grateful to be part of the Chery brand, where people are recognised for their ability and effort, and where women are given the space to grow and contribute. That support encouraged me to keep improving, keep building myself, and keep moving forward.”

Adding to the list of standout performers, Ivy Tan Shiuh Ling claimed the Top Sales Advisor 2025 (Champion) from Chery Perai (Carshen Motors Sdn Bhd) title after delivering an exceptional performance and recording the highest number of registrations. Tan attributed her success to hard work and a strong commitment to being consistently present for her customers. She shared that staying prepared and putting customers first were key factors in her achievements. Even with Chery’s expanding lineup of new models, Tan said she embraces the pace of change, viewing it as an exciting challenge that keeps her on her toes, as she continues to build her product knowledge.

Excellence was also recognised with Chery Setia Alam (Creater Auto Sdn Bhd) named Top Body and Paint Outlet, while Chery Ipoh (Leading Fame Auto Sdn Bhd) received the Top Service Centre award for its consistent commitment to operational and aftersales quality.
