Chery’s PHEV lineup comprising of the TIGGO 7 PHEV and TIGGO 8 PHEV, launched last year is engineered to deliver a balanced of electrified performance and exceptional fuel efficiency suited for Malaysian driving conditions.
Designed to meet the demands of both urban commuting and long-distance journeys, both the models offer an impressive, combined driving range of up to 1,200 kilometres when fully charged with a full tank of petrol. This extended range allows drivers to enjoy fewer refuelling stops, reduced fuel costs and greater peace of mind.
When paired with the CarLinko app, the PHEV ownership experience is elevated even further through smarter monitoring, energy management and everyday convenience.

As a feature designed specifically with PHEV ownership in mind, CarLinko app supports smarter energy management. Owners can schedule battery charging at home through the mobile app, making it easy to charge during preferred hours and manage electricity usage efficiently. This intelligent charging feature perfectly complements the benefits of driving a PHEV especially with the rising fuel costs, allowing users to maximise their savings.
Real-Time Vehicle Insights
The CarLinko app also gives owners real-time access to vital vehicle information wherever they are. Whether on holiday, planning a long drive or simply checking in, users can view their vehicle’s status including mileage, remaining driving range, battery and petrol level.
The CarLinko app also provides tyre pressure information and fuel consumption data, enabling drivers to monitor performance, efficiency and safety effortlessly, all without stepping into the vehicle.
Vehicle maintenance is made just as simple. Through the CarLinko app, owners can review service schedules and access detailed service records, providing clear visibility into what work has been carried out on the vehicle making long-term ownership worry-free and well organised.
Complimentary for all Chery PHEV owners
The CarLinko app is offered as a complimentary feature for Chery PHEV owners. For new car owners, activation and pairing of the app will be completed seamlessly during vehicle delivery.
Existing Chery PHEV owners can activate the service by visiting their nearest authorised Chery dealership, where verification and secure pairing with the vehicle will be carried out to ensure a smooth and secure setup process.
