MPL Malaysia marks MLBB’s 10th anniversary with its biggest Legenda Award yet; Season 18 Legenda drives home a Chery

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 September 2026 — Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia is giving its Legenda (Legend) Award its biggest billing yet as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) celebrates its 10th anniversary. This season features 20 Legenda nominees, the most in the award’s history, with one to be crowned the Season 18 Legenda. To mark the milestone, Official Automotive Partner, Chery, will present the Season 18 Legenda with a Chery TIGGO Cross HEV.

As an established MPL Malaysia honour, the Legenda Award recognises individuals whose contributions have helped shape the league across different eras and left a lasting mark on Malaysian esports. The Season 18 honouree will be selected by a panel of industry figures and league representatives.

A legacy built across eras


To be considered for the Season 18 Legenda, individuals must meet the following criteria:

1. Lasting presence: At least 10 seasons of involvement in MPL Malaysia and remains active in the league today.

2. National representation: Represented Malaysia as a player, or directly contributed to a Malaysian team’s campaign, on the regional or international stage as a coach, manager, or talent.

3. Good standing: Maintained good standing with no unresolved integrity, disciplinary, or conduct violations.

4. New honouree: Has not previously received the MPL Malaysia Legenda Award.

The Season 18 Legenda will be crowned at the CelcomDigi Dream Stage, which marks the culmination of every MPL Malaysia season.
